Description

BURES ROAD 1. 5377 Wiston Nayland with Wissington Flemings (formerly listed as House-at-the-Corner under Wissington) TL 93 SE 15/648 10.1.53. II

  1. A C16 timber-framed house with all the timber-framing exposed, with plaster infil. 2 storeys. The upper storey is jettied on the east front, with a moulded bressummer on exposed joists, curved brackets with carved ornamentation and shafts with moulded capitals. Casement windows with leaded lights. (C20). Roof thatched.
