Description

Flemings is a 16th-century timber-framed house located on Bures Road in Wiston, Nayland with Wissington. The timber framing is fully exposed and features plaster infill. The house has two storeys, with the upper storey jettied on the east front. It includes a moulded bressummer supported by exposed joists, curved brackets with carved ornamentation, and shafts with moulded capitals. The windows are casement style with leaded lights, dating from the 20th century. The roof is thatched.
