Description

Egg Hall is a timber-framed and plastered house dating from the 16th to 17th century, located on Birch Street in Nayland with Wissington. The building underwent renovation in the 20th century. Originally, the upper storey jutted out over the ground floor, but in the 19th century, the ground storey was extended and built out in colourwashed brick. The house has two storeys and features a two-window range, with old leaded casements on the upper storey and 19th-century double-hung sash windows on the ground storey. The roof is tiled.
