Description

The Old Rectory is a predominantly 18th-century timber-framed and plastered house, with a core dating from the 16th to 17th century. The front features and most of the interior are from the 18th century. The building has two storeys and attics, with a four-window range featuring casement windows with glazing bars, which were added in the 20th century. The doorway is framed by a wooden doorcase with pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice. The roof is tiled and half hipped at the south end, with two hipped dormers. Inside, there are some early doors and cut-up panelling in the attics.
