Description

135 and 136 Pound Green is a 16th-century house that features a timber-framed and plastered structure. The main block, which is No. 136, has a gabled front with a first storey that jetties out on exposed joists and beams, and the gable itself projects slightly. The windows are casements, with some including glazing bars. The building has wings extending to the east and west; the east wing is located at the south end of the main block, while the west wing, known as No. 135, is at the north end. The house is one storey with attics, and the roofs are tiled, featuring one gabled dormer on No. 135.
