Description
Little Thurlow Hall is a large house built in the mid-19th century, constructed of buff-colored brick. A brick in the south of the porch is marked with the date 1847. The building consists of a main block with a slightly lower wing extending to the north. It has two storeys, with the main block featuring five windows on both the east and west fronts, and two windows on the south side. The wing has three windows. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars and plain reveals, and the first-storey windows are fitted with louvred shutters.
On the east front, there is a central stuccoed porch that projects outward, featuring pilasters, a cornice, and a six-panel door with a plain fanlight. Above the porch, the central section has pilasters and is topped with an open pediment that displays a coat of arms in the tympanum. The roof is hipped and covered with slate.
