DANBURY GAY BOWERS LANE 1. 5213 TM 70 SE 20/520 St Joseph's Nursing Home II 20/252 2. House, now nursing home. Early C18 with later additions. Brick. Plain tiled roof steeply pitched to eaves. 2 storeys. 12 bay range, including 3 bays set forward to right with double pitched hipped roof; 6 bay range to centre with entrance to right with C20 porch attached; 3 bay wing recessed to left. Segmental headed flush framed windows retaining glazing bars; some crown glass. Interior retains some contemporary raised and fielded panelling and turned baluster staircase. C20 wing to west of main 12 bay front is not of special interest.
