Description

Gay Bowers Cottage is an early 19th century brick house, with the front painted. The building has two storeys and a three-window range. It features tall casements on the front, with small bowed iron balconies on the outer windows of the first storey. The central window and the rear windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The central doorway is adorned with pilasters and a cornice hood supported by shaped brackets. The roof is hipped and covered with slate.
