Description

No. 4 Tindal Street is an 18th-century shop and residence that features earlier and later architectural elements. The building is timber framed and rendered, standing two storeys high with one bay. The ground floor accommodates a shop, while above it, there is one hipped dormer set into the eaves. The roof is gambrel and covered with peg-tiles. The building has an L-shaped plan that includes a rear wing, and it also has a cellar that contains a 16th-century joist.
