Description
Nos. 13 and 14 on High Street is a 16th-century building that features a timber frame and is rendered. It stands three stories high and has a three-window range, with a parapet at the front and eaves at the rear. The front (west) side includes two hipped dormer windows. The second floor has sash windows with glazing bars, along with a projecting string and cornice mould at both the second floor and eaves levels. The ground floor has modern insertions, while the roof is covered with red clay tiles. The building has a rectangular plan with a central passage on the ground floor. To the south of this passage, against the rear wall, there is a three-story stair tower framed in timber, topped with a hipped roof. Chamfered joists are visible in the ceilings of the first floor.
