Description
The barn at Holders Farm is a structure dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, topped with a roof made of corrugated iron. The barn consists of four bays and features a midstrey on the southwest side. The roof is half hipped at the eastern end. The hardwood frame is jointed and pegged, with a staggered framed side purlin roof, pegged collars, and arch braced tie beams. The walls have framed side girts, and the wall carpentered frame includes top plates, tie beams, storey posts, and side girts, all of which are stop-chamfered.
