It has been altered and extended in the 20th century, including a 20th-century shop that extends to the street at the west end. The house is two storeys high and features a three-window range, although one window is obscured by the shop. The windows are casements with glazing bars. A 20th-century glazed porch projects from the front of the house. This building is included for its group value with Nos 2 (Vine Cottages) and 2A.
