Description

Broomfield Hall is a timber-framed and plastered house originating from the 15th century, featuring a half H-shaped plan. It underwent alterations and additions in the late 17th century, with further modifications to the south-west wing. The building has two storeys, attics, and cellars. The north front displays a range of four windows, which are double-hung sashes with glazing bars. A Tuscan style porch enhances the entrance. The roof is tiled and includes two chimney stacks dating from the 16th to 17th centuries. Inside, there is said to be a newel post from a former circular staircase.
