Description
Tylerset Farmhouse is a cottage that dates from the 17th or 18th century or possibly earlier. It is timber framed with a red brick facade and plastered returns, topped with a red concrete pantiled roof. The building has one storey and attics, featuring one gabled dormer and one catslide dormer. There are two two-light casement windows with gauged arches above them. The central gabled porch is partly made of red brick and partly weatherboarded, with a vertically boarded door that has a plain surround and a gauged arch above. Inside, the farmhouse includes chamfered bridging joists and ceiling beams, as well as a repaired inglenook fireplace.
