Description
Birdgreen Farmhouse is a cottage that dates from the 17th century or earlier. It is constructed with a timber frame and has a plastered exterior. The roof is made of grey slate and features one gabled dormer. There is an off-centre red brick chimney stack with plastered attached square shafts. The building has one storey and attics, with three 20th-century windows. The entrance is through an off-centre boarded door that has two lights. An open gabled porch with curved braces, a pendant, and a finial at the apex enhances the entrance. Inside, the farmhouse includes an inglenook fireplace and stop-chamfered bridging joists.
