Description
60 and 62 Hutton Village are two adjoining houses that have been combined into one. They date from the early 19th century, with some 20th-century alterations. The houses are timber-framed and rendered, featuring a roof made of old peg tiles and some flat clay tiles from the 20th century. There is a central stack that has been repointed. The building has a rectangular plan with a two-storey addition at the rear from the 20th century.
The west elevation has two window openings, which now contain 20th-century replacement sash windows with moulded architraves and glazing bars, arranged in a 5x4 pane configuration, with the outer panes being narrower. The doorways are positioned at the outer edges of the facade and feature 20th-century doors made of three panelled boards with upper bull's-eye lights. The north and south side elevations are weatherboarded, continuing around the 20th-century addition. Nos. 60 and 62 form a group with other buildings in Hutton Village.
