Description

The summer house in the garden of Hutton Lodge is an ornamental structure from the 19th century. It is made of timber and is located 8 meters south of the southeast corner of Hutton Lodge. The building has a hexagonal plan supported by corner posts and features a tall ogee tented roof with shaped eaves boards on two open sides. The other four sides are enclosed with lower boards and upper lattice screens. Inside, there is a low bench seat that wraps around the interior, designed at a height suitable for children. This summer house is part of a group with Hutton Lodge.
