Description

This byre, located approximately 15 metres south-south-west of Hyde Farmhouse, dates from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, with a thatched roof covered in corrugated iron. The building has three bays facing west and is a single storey. It features three halved doors and one blocked window, along with a 20th-century sliding vehicle door at the northern end. The roof is constructed with clasped purlins and is half-hipped at both ends.
