Description

This byre, located approximately 25 metres east of Wasse's Farmhouse, dates from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weatherboarded, featuring a thatched roof. The building has three bays aligned from northwest to southeast, with a half-hipped roof at both ends. On the southwest elevation, there is one halved door, while the northwest end has one high loading door. The structure includes primary straight bracing and a clasped purlin roof. It is listed for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
