Description

This byre, located approximately 30 metres east of Piccott's Farmhouse, dates from the 16th to 17th century. It features a timber frame, with sections that are weatherboarded and plastered, and has a brick plinth. The roof is covered in grey slate and is hipped to the left. There is a stable door on the left side of the building. The structure consists of three bays and includes arched braces supporting the tie beams, along with a side purlin roof. The floor is made of bricks laid on edge.
