Description

60 Newland Street is a building from the late 18th century with a red brick front that has been rendered in cement. It stands three storeys high and includes cellars. The façade features a two-window range with double-hung sash windows that have glazing bars, set in flush cased frames. The ground floor has a 20th-century shop front. The roofs are tiled, and there is an earlier wing located at the rear of the building. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 56, 58A, 58, 60 to 66 (even), along with No 47, The Spread Eagle Hotel, and Nos 53 to 57 (odd).
