Description
64 Newland Street is an 18th-century red brick house featuring a parapet. The building has been renovated in the 20th century and is now roughcast on the front. It stands two storeys tall with attics and is set back from the street. The south-west side has a two-window range, while the south-east front has a five-window range, all with double-hung sashes and glazing bars in plain reveals. The ground storey includes a 20th-century shop. The roof is covered with 20th-century tiles and has a mansard style, featuring three flat-headed dormers on the south-east front and one on the south-west front. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 56, 58A, 58, 60 to 66 (even), No 47, The Spread Eagle Hotel, and Nos 53 to 57 (odd).
