Description
This is an 18th-century house with a timber frame and plaster construction, featuring a front facade of blue brick with red brick detailing. The house is two storeys high with attics, and has a five-window front with double-hung sash windows containing glazing bars, all set within cased frames. The ground floor has been altered with a 20th-century shop front. The roof is tiled and has a mansard hip design with a coved plaster eaves cornice. Inside, original exposed beams are visible.
Numbers 72 to 78 (even), along with numbers 86 to 92 (even), the Congregational Chapel, numbers 61 to 65 (odd) and numbers 83 to 91 (odd), form a notable group.
