62 Newland Street is a building from 1841 with a red brick front typical of the 18th century. It features a parapet and a raised brick band, which also runs between the first and second storeys. The building has three storeys and cellars, with a four-window range. The windows are double-hung sashes without glazing bars, set in flush cased frames. The ground storey includes a 20th-century shop. The roof is hipped and covered with tiles.
