Description
This barn, with attached pig sties on the left and byres on the right, is located approximately 70 metres west of Littlebury Farmhouse. It dates from the 16th and 18th centuries and is constructed with a timber frame and weatherboarding, featuring corrugated asbestos-clad roofs. The barn has a central gabled midstrey and consists of five bays, with halved bracing on the walls. The 18th-century re-roofing includes side purlins with hanging knees to the tie beams. The attached lower level pig sties, which have two bays, and the three-bay byres are made from similar materials. Together, these structures form the northern range of the farm complex, which includes other listed buildings nearby.
