Description

This is a cottage, likely dating back to the 16th century or earlier, with alterations made at a later date. It is timber-framed and has been plastered, with a grey slate roof. The cottage is two storeys high and has a two-window front. The windows are 19th-century casements, with diamond-paned glass on the ground floor. A small stair light is centrally located. A red brick chimney stack rises from the centre of the roof. Internally, exposed beams are visible. The cottage features back-to-back inglenook fireplaces, one with a straight mantel beam and the other with a cambered beam.
