Description

Brickwall Farm Barns are located approximately 30 metres south west of the house and adjacent to the road. These barns date from the 18th century and feature a timber frame with weatherboarding, along with plaster on the gable ends and above red brick plinths. The roofs are made of corrugated asbestos and consist of three ranges, with the left and right ranges being lower in height. There are two gabled midstreys and pigeon holes located at the apex of the south midstrey. The roof structure includes side purlins, and there is serpentine through bracing in the walls. The barns also hold group value with the house and The Green.
