Description
This is a house located approximately 220 metres north-north-west of King's Farmhouse, dating from the 16th century or earlier. It has a timber frame, is plastered, and features a thatched roof. The building consists of four bays facing roughly south, with an axial chimney stack situated in the second bay from the left. It is one storey high with attics and has five 20th-century casement windows along with two plain boarded doors. There is also a 20th-century casement window in a gabled dormer. The roof is half-hipped at both ends. On the left end at the upper level, there is a horizontally sliding sash window with eight lights, dating from the 19th century. Inside, the house has heavy studding and retains an original lodged floor in the right end bay, which includes a framed stair trap. It was formerly known as Bishop's. No interior access was available at the time of the survey in March 1984.
