Description

The Church of St. Mary the Virgin features a headstone located approximately 10 metres east of the east window and north of another item. This headstone dates from around 1769 and is one of a pair. It has a wave-curved top and a central moulded oval frame that includes a weeping putto and a foliate background. The frame is adorned with foliar ornamentation that drapes and supports it.
