TERLING SPARROWS FARM ROAD (south side) Barn approximately 30 metres north west of Rolls Farmhouse

GV II Barn. Early C18, extended in later C18. Timber framed, weatherboarded, roofed with red clay Roman tiles. Three bays aligned northeast-southwest with midstrey to southeast. Extended to south west by five bays, with another midstrey to south east. Lean-to extensions between and each side of midstreys. Eight re-used jowled posts at south west end, other posts unjowled. Primary straight bracing. Straight braces to tiebeams, some replaced by bolted knees. Joggled butt-purlin roof to original barn, clasped purlin roof to extension.
