Description
Little Russells is a house dating from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is timber framed and plastered, topped with a thatched roof. The house has four bays facing northeast and features an axial stack located in the second bay from the left, which creates a lobby entrance. There are 20th-century single-storey extensions at the back of the right end and to the right. The building is one storey high with attics and has three 20th-century casement windows along with a half-glazed door from the same period. Inside, there are chamfered axial beams throughout, with lamb's tongue stops in the left bay and plain stops in other areas. The right bay has exposed plain joists, and the original rafters are still visible.
