Description

Great Lodge Farm barn, located approximately 35 metres southeast of the house, dates from the 18th to 19th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weatherboarded, sitting on a brick plinth. The barn features a red pantiled roof and has full height double doors. It consists of seven bays, with hanging knees supporting the tie beams and through bracing on the walls. The roof is built with a king post construction, making it a notable example of its type.
