Description
Pannels Ash Farmhouse is a house that dates back to the 16th century or earlier, with later alterations and additions. It is constructed from timber framing and plaster, featuring decorative panel pargetting. The roof is covered with red plain tiles, and there are central and right red brick chimney stacks. The building has two storeys and a four-window range, primarily consisting of vertically sliding sashes with glazing bars, some of which have margins. The central entrance door is adorned with a frieze, a flat canopy, and brackets. Inside, there is a restored red brick fireplace with a straight mantel beam that shows signs of a painted pattern, along with stop-chamfered ceiling beams. There are also visible mullion slots. The rear wing is faced with painted flint and brick.
