Description

The Old Bakehouse and adjoining cottage are two dwellings that date back to the 17th century or earlier. The buildings are timber framed and plastered, featuring an exposed frame on the gables. They have a red plain tiled roof with gabled crosswings on both the right and left sides. The main section is one storey with attics, including two catslide dormers in the centre, while the crosswings are two storeys high. There are three red brick chimney stacks, and the windows consist of a three-window range of vertically sliding sashes with glazing bars, except for the ground floor right, which has a flat-headed bay window.
