House. C.1600, altered in C20. Timber framed, roughcast rendered, roofed with handmade red clay tiles. 3 bays facing SW with internal stack at right end, single-storey extension at front of right end, and small C20 extension at rear of left end. (Joined at the SW to no. 60, and at the SE to no. 2 Bell Lane). 2 storeys with attics. 2-window range of C20 casements, C20 door in left return wall. The interior has jowled posts, curved tension braces trenched inside the studs, and original floors at both levels with chamfered transverse beams with lamb's tongue stops and plain joists of vertical section. Clasped purlin roof with cranked collars.
