Description
Willingham Cottage is a house dating from around 1600, with extensions added in the 18th century and further modifications in the 20th century. The building features a timber frame set on a brick plinth, rendered with brown brick infill. The end of the house includes a red and blue brick extension, while the rear has a 20th-century timber frame. The roofs are covered with plain tiles. The cottage is two storeys high, with a detached stack at each end and a central ridge stack at the rear. It has three framed bays and an additional bay extension to the left. On the first floor, there are five leaded casement windows, and four more on the ground floor. A studded door is located to the left of centre. There is a wing at right angles to the rear, which leads to a parallel range from the 20th century, and a pentice outshot is present at the rear left.
