Description

A pair of cottages dating to the 17th and 18th centuries, with possible origins even earlier, and featuring later alterations. The cottages are timber-framed and rendered with a plastered finish. They have a half-hipped thatched roof with two gabled dormers, and external brick chimney stacks on the central and right sides. The cottages are one storey high with attics, and have a four-window front with small paned casement windows. There are thatched porches with 20th-century glazed doors. The original timber frame is exposed internally, while No. 2 retains original brick floors. No. 2 also features a restored brick fireplace.
