Description

Langley Cottage and Wartin are a pair of cottages that were originally a single house, dating from the late 17th century. The buildings are timber framed and plastered, topped with a gabled thatched roof. They stand two storeys high and feature a continuous lean-to that creates a catslide on the roadside elevation. There is a central square ridge line stack and a gabled pantiled single-storey extension at the southwest end. Each cottage has a lean-to porch on the rear elevation and a mix of 19th and 20th century small pane casements.
