Description

This is a house dating from the 18th century, located east of the Cock and Blackbird Public House on Bulmer Street. The building features a timber frame with ashlared plaster and a gabled peg tile roof. It has two storeys and a continuous rear lean-to that forms a catslide. A stack is positioned on the ridge line in a 'baffle entry' layout. The front of the house has four double-hung sash windows with small panes and moulded architraves, along with three similar windows below an off-centre early 19th-century doorcase. The doorcase includes moulded architraves, the original door, a cornice hood, and triglyphs in the frieze. Bargeboards are present on the gable ends.
