Description

Nos. 1, 2, and 3 Church Road are three cottages dating from the 16th or 17th century, with the right range likely from the 18th century. The cottages are timber framed and plastered, while the right range is faced with brick featuring dogtooth eaves and is also plastered. The roof is covered with red plain tiles, with grey slate on the right side. The buildings are two storeys high and have a six-window range of casements with transoms. There are three 20th-century doors with top lights. Inside, part of the timber frame is exposed, showcasing jowled storey posts and heavy chamfered bridging joists.
