Description

This is a barn located north west of Black Notley Hall, dating from the 18th century or earlier. It is constructed with a timber frame, featuring sections that are plastered and others that are weatherboarded. The roof is made of red pantiles and is half hipped to the north. There is a hipped midstrey with a lean-to addition on the left side and an outshot on the right side. The barn forms a group value with the nearby listed building.
