Description

Ratcliff's, formerly known as Ratcliff House, is an 18th-century house that has undergone later alterations and additions. It features a timber frame with a plastered exterior and a double range roof covered in red plain tiles. There are external red brick chimney stacks on both the left and right sides of the building. The house is two storeys high and has a three-window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes, with those on the ground floor having pentice boards above them. The central entrance consists of a three-panel, three-light door, which is adorned with a moulded surround and a flat canopy supported by curved brackets.
