Description

The barn and attached dairy, located to the southeast of Hayeswood Farmhouse, date from around 1839. The structure is timber framed and covered in weatherboarding, with a red brick and flint plinth and a corrugated iron roof. It features a central gabled midstrey and has lean-to outbuildings on both the right and left sides, each with a stable door. The midstrey has double vertically boarded doors and consists of three bays. The attached dairy is made of red brick and includes a sink and original coppers. This barn forms the western side of a polygonal farmyard and is part of a complex that includes a dovecote and a cartlodge.
