House, now shop and flat. C18, altered in C20. Timber framed, plastered and weatherboarded, roofed with handmade red plain tiles. 2 bays aligned NE-SW (gable end to street) with internal stack at rear, extended to rear by 2 bays, with one axial stack. C20 single-storey extension to rear with flat roof. 2 storeys. C20 bow shop window in early C19 style, and on first floor, one C18/early C19 sash of 12 lights. Fielded 6-panel door in C20 architrave in early C19 style. Front plastered, remainder weatherboarded, mostly tarred. The roof of the rear block stands approximately 0.50 metre higher than that of the front block, the gable plastered. In the left return is one early C19 sash of 16 lights. In the right return, on the ground floor, is an C18/early C19 window of 20 fixed lights with crown and bullseye glass, and on the first floor a C19 window of 2 fixed lights. Frame concealed by interior finishes. Roof of rear block has a ridge; other roof inaccessible. Included for group value.
