Description
Nos. 1 and 2 Pottery Lane is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with 18th century and later alterations and additions. The building features a three-storey range on the left that is timber framed and plastered, while the two-storey range on the right is faced with painted brick. The roof on the left is covered with red pantiles, and the right side has red plain tiles. There are two red brick chimney stacks.
The left side has two windows, and the right side has one window on the first floor and two windows on the ground floor. All windows are 18th century small paned horizontal sliding sashes. To the left, there is a trellised gabled porch with a glazed door, and to the right, there is a part glazed vertically boarded door. Some exposed timber can be seen internally.
