Description

Gentry’s Farmhouse is a house dating to the late 16th or early 17th century, originally timber-framed and later plastered, with a red plain tile roof. It is arranged with a three-bay and chimney-bay plan, featuring a three-window front. The windows are 20th-century casements. A 20th-century extension has been added to the west, incorporating a hipped roof. The original red brick chimney stacks date to the 16th century and were partly rebuilt in the 17th century. The interior reveals some original timber framing alongside 18th- and 19th-century details.
