Description

Hill Farm House is a late 16th/early 17th century farmhouse. It is timber-framed and plastered, with the right-hand gable end featuring red brick casing on the ground floor and rustic weatherboarding above, all under a plaintiled roof. The house originally comprised three rooms. The windows are mainly mid-20th century casements, with a mid-20th century entrance door. At first-floor level, there's a projecting moulded sill belonging to an original window. A later addition is set forward to the left, with rustic weatherboarding to the gable end and an original mullioned window at first floor. The house has an internal stack. Exposed timbering is visible inside.
