Description

Turners Cottage is a range of 17th century timber-framed and plastered cottages located on Queenborough Lane in Braintree. The building is one storey high with attics and features a five-window range with horizontal sliding sashes that include glazing bars. The roofs of cottages 1 and 4 are thatched, while cottages 2 and 3 have tiled roofs. There are four sloping-roofed dormers and an original T-shaped chimney stack.
