Description

Oak Cottage is a timber-framed and plastered cottage, likely dating to the 17th century or earlier, with later additions and alterations. It has a red plain tiled roof and two red brick chimney stacks. The cottage is one storey high with attics, and features five gabled dormers. The front elevation has a six-window range of small-paned casement windows. A vertically boarded door is located to the right. The building was noted in the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments' survey of Felsted (1984).
