Description
Lovelands Farmhouse is a house that dates back to the 16th century or earlier, with later additions and alterations. It features a timber frame that is plastered, and has a crosswing on the left side. The roof is covered with red plain tiles and the building stands two storeys high. The facade has a window arrangement of one window to the left and three windows to the right, which are 20th-century casements with transoms. There is a 20th-century enclosed gabled porch with a half-glazed door located to the right of the crosswing. The gable has decorative bargeboards, and there are two red brick chimney stacks. Inside, the farmhouse includes bridging joists, one of which is heavily moulded and has ornate and foliate chamfer stops.
