Description

This is a timber-framed and plastered building dating from the 16th to 17th centuries, located on Bradford Street. Numbers 12 and 13 have jettied fronts, while number 10 is a taller wing, potentially added later at the southern end. The building is two storeys high with attics. Number 10 has a single bay on its west and south fronts, featuring 20th-century casement windows with lattice leaded lights. Numbers 12 and 14 have two bays each, with three-light casement windows containing glazing bars. There are two six-panel doors, each framed by a narrow architrave. The roofs are tiled, and number 10 has a 20th-century flat-headed dormer. The interiors retain exposed ceiling beams. The listed buildings from numbers 4 to 20 on the east side, and numbers 19 to 41 on the west side, form a group with Bawn Cottage, Bawn Close.
